wine: icon creation difficulty ... i think
 

Nearing the end of a Starcraft installation, it reports to have an error and makes the installation unable to be completed. The error regards the creation of the start icon under C:\etc\etc\etc\whatever\bleh bleh\woowoo\ and I've tried using sudo wine /mnt/cdrom/install.exe
Groovy fun all night tonight.

do you have write permissions to where the shortcut is being created? and does the directory exist?

I don't know if this reply is worth the time to read, but I installed StarCraft and got the same error. However, it ignored it and continued on with the installation. My windows directory is a fake_windows under my home directory. I used WineX 3.1.
