Wine help: libntdll.dll

Hi again!!!

I was testing wine for the first time which cames with my distro (Mandrake 9.0) and I could not get it to run. I went to their homepage and followed all instructions to compile it properly, once they also said in there that some distros may distribute some corrupted versions of Wine. I then uninstalled my distro version and downloaded the new one. After a long time compiling the program, it failed and every time I try to run bash with wine, as root or not, I get this message:

wine: error while loading shared libraries: libntdll.dll.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I've followed each and every step from their howto and all folders are created in my /home/ as well....

I then browsed their homepage, but it's the poorest page I've ever needed help from, simply full of error 404 there...
Could someone please give me some tips about where to get this dll (no success on google either) and/or install Wine properly. Neither me or any of my friends could actually use Wine like, never... start to think if it really works....

Thanks in advance

check out www.frankscorner.com (org?). In his Links section (at the bottom) it shows where some dlls are. Also just do a google.com/linux search. There are websites that have a whole gamet of dlls for you to download (without signing up).

Thanks Tomasfuego!!!

I'm checking it out. Looks like Linux can actually run more games that I thought :) Hope I can make this wine work ... I wanna make the full migration :)
