Wine fails after building font metrics : X error

Hello,

I have Wine 20030618 (this may be not too old, is it really ?) installed in my Debian testing (apt-get...), but after building font metrics it fails with X error...

I have tried to launch notepad.exe (Windows XP version), and also a Win 98 standalone app.

Configuration uses a fake windows directory, so that it doesn't try to load Win XP dlls at all.

My graphic card is Ati Radeon 7500, and the X server is XFree 4.3. In fact my Debian is a Knoppix I removed knoppix stuff from.

Thanks for any idea, log is below. Even font metrics builds with messages I don't like...

Babs

notepad.exe from Windows XP that I copied somewhere else (independently from windows' location) and another little standalone .exe program I found on a website and which is Win 95 compatible.

However my error is related to X, isn't it ?
