I'm having issues getting the transcender software to work with wine on ubuntu 8.04 and 8.10. The version of wine is 1.0 , and here's the uname 2.6.26-5-server #1 SMP Fri Aug 15 14:37:17 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux

The program installed fine using wine , however it crashes instantly and does not even give the splash screen , here is the output.

~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Transcender$ wine Trans.exe

Anybody have any words from the wise ?

MSVBVM60.DLL is the Visual Basic 6 library, which is still used by a lot of programs. VB6 is available for free all over the net. You need to download it and install it to your C:/Windows/System folder.

OK awesome thanks David , I did add in the MSVBVM60.DLL into system32 however I am still getting

Runtime error '364'
Object was unloaded

but atleast it gets the splash screen. Could i have a corrupt dll ?
