Wine error "insufficient space to install"

Hello! I have been using Ubuntu for several months and really loving it! I am trying to use WINE to run Canon's Easy Photo Print Software. It is not listed on the wine website or Franks corner, but I thought I might be able to make it work (ha hahhhhaa). Anyway, I get to the install screen and it says "install to C program files free space 1 mb" obviously not enough needed to complete install. I've checked my .wine file and everything seems ok, ie plenty of space etc.... I've also tried to direct the installer to a different path, ie h: home....., but I just get error messages. So, does anyone know if I am just out of luck until the devs add my application to the "working" list or is there something I can do myself? Thank you in advance for any help!

Cheers

Melanie

What directory do you have symlinked as your wine C: drive?

Honestly, I am not sure. I did winecfg and all the files were automatically installed in home/melanie/.wine. I tried to add the app through the winecfg gui but it did not work. So, I added a d drive to get to the installer on cd. Then, I tried to make it work manually via terminal by typing "wine /media/cdrom0/msetup4.exe". That got my installer to open and run but then I hit the brick wall with the space thing. Does that help?

P.S. Thanks for responding.
