Wine <<>> Crappy Ass Fonts

Have noticed that many fonts that appear in wine have ugly fonts and some of the programs I run in wine can't have the crappy fonts changed.

I mean if the programs in question I was using had an edit>fonts and let me customize them it'd be great. But thats obviously not the case.

For instance one program that has a log window the program uses the SYSTEM font (i believe thats the name of it anyhow) and the font is like point size 7 when in a real windows enviromen it'd be point size 10 or 12. Why it makes the font smaller in wine, hell if i know!

Also some dialog boxes that suppose to have conent wont have any at all (some of you may have noticed this in installers where it asks you to agree to the licenses terms, but you notice its totally blank) Well.. I have no problem agreeing to a license with no terms, but I have some programs that have important content in those boxes that are critical for me. (For instance the dialog editor in reshack.... etc etc etc)

Thanks!(!*!@#@(#

I have the same problem but then I haven't set up the system fonts properly - http://www.winehq.com/Docs/wine-user...nts-main.shtml - have you tried this?

I followed the steps here (grab windows system fonts, fnt2bdf, bdftopcf, stick them in the right pleace restart font server, remove aliases from wine config...) but I still have the same problem........any wineos here?:(
