Wine -- ./configuring
I was trying to compile Wine(the latest build) and in the middle of the configuration script it stopped saying that a sanity check had failed on C preprocessor /lib/cpp.
I tried changing the symlink destination from /usr/bin/cpp to /usr/bin/gcc. I changed it back though. I coulnd't find any other logs. Check this log file. http://tarballedtux.tripod.com/config.log.txt I'm thinking it;s related to Slackware-current but I cannot be sure. Slackware-current glibc is 2.2.5. gcc version 2.95.3 autoconf 2.57 Thanks in advance. |
I've never had problems building wine-x using slackware-current, so I would think that wine would compile alright. You may want to try using winex (www.transgaming.com -> cvs from winex.transgaming.com) if that doesn't work, there's always rpms

Long story short, I got it to work. Thanks
