wine common controls : how to?
 

hi!
i tried to start the DC++ program throgth wine and it goes almost fine
(my dcgui-qt goes very slow) but i cannot install the common controls ! so i connot save settings and so on...
how can i install common controls on wine?!?! pls help me!:(

first the may of may not help, but make sure this is set in your wine config file:
[AppDefaults\\DCPlusPlus.exe\\dlloverrides]
"comctl32" = "native"
also if this still doesn't work this is the only thing i can tell you that can fix your problem
now your going to have to open up this program on a windows machine and set your preferences and save them, now when you go into the folder (still on the win box) you will copy that *.xml file that it has made with your settings in it...copy this over to the location of dc++ on your linux box (i assume you are using a fake windows drive in your home diretory) and your settings should be there.
