wine and ssh

I am still a kind of newbie. I am having an awful time getting openssh configured to use Socks 5 proxy, so I figured I'd try to get the nice ssh windows client running under wine.

I don't know much about it, but the problem I'm having is when I run ssh it displays but the characters are all mush, a lot squares and stars and the like where the font is meant to be.

Is this fixable??

thanks a lot.

Hi,

I'd recommend that WINE wasnt the right way to go! I'd look at the native Linux solutions like E-SSH-SH ..or others on Freshmeat before you do

If this post helps, please click the affero button
