wine and quicktime

I have an app ( Red Shift4) which needs Quicktime installed to run

Apart from Quicktime the installation process seemed to be ok

Is it possible to install quicktime under wine?

If not does the obvious conclusion follow that any app needing QT cannot be run with wine?

Thanks for your comments

I am running mdk 9.2

Quicktime does install under wine, but you have to download it using Internet Explorer (under wine of course). Once I got IE working and downloaded the installer it works great...except that I can't get sound to play. If anyone has any ideas on that one, they'd be helping both of us out!
