wine and IE

I have both wine and the crossover office version of wine on my machine. Previously I was able to run IE but now it goes into a loop when evoked. I looked at the system monitor processes and the wine preloader just keeps running and never progresses.

Do you really need IE? If not, just use something like Firefox or Opera.

You will find that there are a lot of things that wine cannot run properly. Usually those are the applications that there are native alternatives.
