wine


I got a probably simple question bout wine I need to run INFO.EXE so I cd to the directory and type

 wine INFO.EXE
it says
Code:
Segmentation fault
I have just installed wine and this is the first thing I am tryin to use what else do I need to do in order to get it to work?

wine may not support this info.exe program

well what is info.exe?

you could try doing

winex3 info.exe -winver win98

(or whatever version the app is designed for)

well it isnt wineX it is just wine, and INFO.EXE is it actual that Idont kow what it does so that is why I am tryin to run it

curiosity killed that cat /dev/null > /dev/hdx1 (DO NOT DO!!!!)
lol
it is probably information about the cd if it is on cd.

I got it offline and read the man page which didnt really make sense and Itried what jonbob said but that didnt work
