Wine kicks in and die.
System
Debian testing (amd64), current as of Mon Dec 5 08:48:04 UTC 2011. wine-1.2.3 32bit.
Solution
Clear .wine/
and reinstall your.exe file
I have done without success
clear and reinstall wine.
configure and commpile wine.
If your Penguin is still sick
You have a chance to have fun doing something else and post here, sorry.
My Guess
I assume some link broke upon system upgrade (Debian testing).
Closing remark
Happy Penguins!
cheers!
