Wine 1.0.1 with Chinese??
 

So got wine 1.0.1 working on Ubuntu 9.10

it was simply: sudo apt-get install wine (or something)

I need to work with Chinese programs under wine, was wondering what do I have to do in order to make wine able to display the Chinese fonts without the garbage.

You may find this 3rd party repository helpful, courtesy of Ubuntu Tweak's website:

It appears to add in support for CJK characters to Wine.
