Let's see now...

I have used Windows 2000 terminal server in the following way. We have an application server, a terminal server and some remote client machines.

We loaded the terminal server client on the remote machines, logged in from them to the terminal server and accessed client server applications on the application server.

How does this Red Hat terminal server work?

jamrock,
rdesktop is a great client that runs from a command line. In my workgroup network, I load a terminal and type rdesktop 192.168.1.150. I have not noticed any differences between the Terminal Server client on rdesktop and on Windows 2000. Think of it exactly like the Windows client without a GUI.

Rdesktop works great. I use it to connect to our .net (beta) server at work. I linked it to an icon on my desktop and with 1 quick double click I get a windowed windows sesssion. There are switches you can use to specify resolution as well as login and password. Rdesktop = good stuff!
