I am trying to get wmp 10 to work as a plugin using mozilla 1.2.1 and opera 7. also I cannot seem to get mplayer to play wmv videos, I have install the win32 codecs.......
Mozilla 1.2.1? You should really upgrade your browser - that's ancient, many problems were fixed since then. I'd personally upgrade and then retest. Also look at mplayer-plugin for Mozilla - I have it and have no problems.
How did you install mplayer? I have always had the best results after putting the fonts/codecs/skins in place and then installing mplayer from source (./congure --with-gui, make, make install).
i dont quite remeber the exact way that I installed Mplayer. I do remerbe that i installed the 3 codecs mplayer-gui-1.opre2-1,mplayerplug-in and mplayer-skin-default. But that is all that I remeber, are you able to play videos that use a windows media player 10 codecs?
