Windows installer and Wine

Did anybody succeed to install Windows Installer 3.0 in Wine (the WindowsInstaller-KB884016-v2-x86.exe file)? I think it is important in order to install newer applications in wine (for example Macromedia Flash 8).
I tried several times on my Slackware 10.2 2.6.13 (wine ver. 0.9.4 and earlier versions) machine but I always have the following error:
Unable to find a volume for file extraction. Please verify that you have proper permissions.

Hello batev,

Unfortunately current version of wine doesn't seems to support windows installer. I think this seeks any special directory for temp data extraction !
