Hi guys,
I'm trying to install a broadband internet USB stick from Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. E1552 (HSPA modem) using wine. The installation requires 2 processes first was the izap installation which was sucessful and then the iboost installation which failed with the following error:

Error Number:0x80040702
Description:Failed to load Dll:InstUtil
Setup will now terminate

I'm running fedora 13 and i installed wine via yum.Your assistances will be highly appreciated.
Thanks

don't install windows drivers with wine... googling "E1552 linux" or "E1552 fedora 13" may help

Three ways to install driver for linux. One is to compile it in or have it stock in the distro. Second is to find a driver and install it. Third is to use ndiswrapper. Ndiswrapper is the way one can use a windows driver in linux.
