win4lin, cdrom dont works since this...

Hi
today i installed win4lin for running some interesting windows programs on my linux distributions (debian).

But since i installed it, my cdrom drive always shows me this error while im trying to mount my cdrom drive:
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/cdrom,
or too many mounted file systems
(could this be the IDE device where you in fact use
ide-scsi so that sr0 or sda or so is needed?)

with any cdrom that i have in my chamber, i tried rebooting, i tried a lot of things! im on this since like 2 hours and im bored cause i cant access my datas from cds :S

could you help me please?

thanks

- tom

Do you get the cdrom all the time or just when win4lin is running. If so, do you need the cdrom with the win4lin apps? maybe you could disable wi4lin cd support in the winsetup.

Or do you have cdrom touble all the time now even when wi4lin is not actually running windows? If so it could be a problem with the kernel used. Did you compile your own or use the win4lin generic - which isn't the greatest IMO.

So it may be a matter of a kernel patch and compile...

or it may be a fstab change. Have you checked that?

As an experiment, does the cdrom work if you boot with the original kernel rather than the win4lin enabled kernel?
