Win me & RedHat


Can I install RedHat 7 along with Windows Me?

You have two problems...

Firstly, to create boot discs often needs TRUE DOS mode, this does not exist in ME.

Secondly, you have to squash up your windows drive to make room for the Linux system. This is not as easy in ME as in other windows versions.

On the other hand, ME does not grab the MBR like Win2000 does.

I have not tried Linux and ME. Check documentation for whichever distribution you choose.

If you are using a second disc, it may be easier.
