will SONIC cd burner work just as well as ROXIO for burning ISO's?

i'm trying to download mandrake 10.0 from a mirror in ca. and i was reading the info LQ info for burning ISO's and it said that ROXIO burner is the best or something. this is my first time doing this and i'm using win xp and Sonic burner. i don't want to pay for a new program if i don't have to.

Go ahead and try what you have. I used to use a different program than either one you mentioned, can't remember off hand what it was called.

If the program has the option "Burn iso image", or "Burn image", and accepts iso files, then you're done.
