Thumbs up Will apt-get installs 32bit debain package on 64bit debian/ubuntu machine ??


Hi all,


My Requirement: I need to install 32bit unixodbc debian package on 64bit unbuntu machine. Using apt-get can i able to install it ? If 'yes' what is the command to install it.

Short answer, apt-get will not install the 32 bit version, unless there was a 32 bit version built, named differently, for example unixodbc32 or something, and which pulled in the other necessary 32 bit libraries and dependencies.

Running 32-bit Applications on 64-bit Debian GNU/Linux
