the first program I ran with wine it worked fine.. All the fonts displayed correctly. But after that I get this on every program I try to execute:

yes, it's supposed to be normal english.
I uninstalled wine with "make uninstall" and I reinstalled it (overwriting everything). The first time it works fine and every time after that I get the same thing as you see in the screenshot.
I tried using real windows with slack and it works correctly there. no weird fonts. This is not a practical solution for me because I can't run my programs in real windows because they need write access.
how can I fix this?
