WICD configuration problem
 

hello

i'm using WICD as my wireless network manager.
wicd 1.6.2.1 on slackware 13.
I need to configure dynamic WEP with authentication, user name and password like shown on the pic.
i couldnt find that option in wicd properties or configuration, any suggestion?

I believe the option is LEAP with WEP.

I've tried to use LEAP.
it doesnt work, maybe because i cant configure "Authentication" and other option.

iwconfig wlan0 essid (wireless router name here)
iwconfig wlan0 enc (web key here)
dhcpcd wlan0

this works just as easy as wicd if not better and it will auto connect your wicd too if you have wicd installed. I just put those three lines in a file called rc.wireless then just run it as a script easier than dealing with wicd IMO
