why wont kde recobnise my root password?


I reinstalled my web browser rather i upgraded to mozilla 1.6 in icewm then loged into kde the box asing for root password before i can enter the mandrake control centre comes up asking for password i entered it and its telling me its not right (whats that all about???) anyway i can rectify this?

1. Try taking a deep breath before posting - I think you need to calm down

2. See above - a modicum of punctuation and editing would serve you well.

3. Some versions of KDE (from memory) block root logins. Its an option you have to set in KDE to allow them
