Why use Apache1.3 - What can't Apache2 do?
What's the difference? Presumably Apache 2 doesn't do all that 1.3 does? Why is there two versions still in development?

Why do you presume that Apache2 does not do everything that the previous version did? Typically new versions of software have more features, not fewer. A quick look at the [url=http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/new_features_2_0.html]new features[url] shows that improvements have been made in several areas. There have also been many enhancements to many of the standard modules. The most notable changes in Apache2 include threading, mod_ssl, and IPv6 support.

Well there are 2 versions also since not all modules have been ported to Apache 2.0 yet, so if you have to use modules which are not yet ported to 2.0 you ahve to stay that way...
