why my MySQL was automatically stopped


I start MySQL by command /usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqld_safe --user=mysql &

but after a few seconds, the promption displayed a messege about stopping MySQL.
This problem has never happened before.I have no idea.
Can some one help me?

[root@MyENIAC root]# /usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqld_safe --user=mysql &
[1] 8531
[root@MyENIAC root]# Starting mysqld daemon with databases from /usr/local/var


[root@MyENIAC root]# STOPPING server from pid file /usr/local/var/MyENIAC.pid

050202 07:29:33 mysqld ended


[1]+ Done /usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqld_safe --user=mysql
