Why I cannot change the setting on the Standard greeting in Redhat 9.0?
When I select the logo and the background picture, it only appears the logo in the account box but my background is totally white! ?
Also at login I receive a message like "Could not look up interner address from xxxxxxxxxx this will prevent Gnome from operating correctly.
it might be possible to correct the problem by adding xxxxxxxxxxx * in which the xxx's are the ip) to the file /etc/hosts,,
When i try to cahnge the file it says I cant do it, and if i log as root each time a enter again the address is gone!
