Question why fedora 6 can not play audio.

A few days ago, I install Fedora linux 6 in my pc. It's first time I use the linux Graphical interface. Before I have been using linux on server without Graphical interface.

But when I play mp3 or other format song, the system report a error:

"You do not have a decoder installed to handle this file. You might need to install the necessary plugins"

I don't know what happends, please help me.
Thanks for everyone.

What media player are you using to play your mp3s?

Have a look at:
http://www.xmms.org/

On fedora I think you can do the following from a terminal to install:
Code:
su -
yum install xmms
