why does WINE.rpm not create my ~.wine directory

i suppose the subject says it all. i installed wine flawlessly the other day, had quite a few things working nicely, and did a reinstall [REDHAT9] because i messed it up and now it will not install correctly.

you should type "wine" in the console as the user you want the folder and it will create it for you.
