Talking WHOA silver any apaches here


Anyone ever play around with the apache web server. I am toying with it and can not find the index.html file that I need to edit or replace to change the default page. there are all sorts of index files but none seem to be the right one...... I am so confused can someone point me in the right direction please......

Basically if your using Slackware by default its going to be in /var/www/htdocs.

There will be alot of index.html.en.. and so on files which are different default index pages in different languages.

You should be able to just remove all of those index files and just create yourself a new one to place on your web server and that should fix the issue.
