Well I think, don't quote but Pclinux os has Kopete installed by default, why not use that. Otherwise the current version will be available in their repositories, or if you like Pclinuxos why don't you donate and recieve "The Pass" to their latest and greatest software on a quick server.

I have just tried to open the synaptic tool and it has come up with the following:

h**p://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/texstar/pclinuxos/apt/pclinuxos/2004/base/pkglist.os: Size mismatch
h**p://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/texstar/pclinuxos/apt/pclinuxos/2004/base/pkglist.updates: Size mismatch
h**p://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/texstar/pclinuxos/apt/pclinuxos/2004/base/pkglist.texstar: Size mismatch

What does it mean?

Thanks!

It is well worth it to be able to use PASS.

PCLinuxOS: Donations
Quote:
Premium Access System Server - For those who contribute a modest donation of $20.00 or more will receive 12 months access to our premium server. This server provides almost unlimited bandwidth and storage! It is not a free server and is only available at this time to those who donate towards the development of PCLinuxOS.

All new software packages appear on this server first then at a later date, the public servers get the packages. Make sure to include your email address in the comments box when using PayPal or with the mailed in donation. An email will follow within 48 hours of receiving a donation with instructions on how to setup the Synaptic Software Manager for access to the premium server. Thanks for supporting PCLinuxOS.

PASS server access is limited to one password per household. Please do not share your password or post it in a public place. Redistribution of your PASS access code is prohibited.
