Which File System on micro SDcard.

Hi,
I am using Linux 2.6.18 in an embedded appication.
I need to store few data logs (fixed size , say around 1 log = 100 bytes)on a micro SD card.

My question is
1. Which filesystem should be there on micro SD card , so that data integrity is preserved.
2. Is there any file sytem that provides a diagnostic check , to ensure that the filesytem is healthy.

Thanks in advance
Niraj

Ext3 or Ext4.
You could use FAT32 but it's not as reliable. Since it's Linux embedded Ext file systems should be present as standard. If you intend to take your data to a windows machine there are drivers for windows which will allow you to read and write to your SD card with EXT file system. You will of course need a bootable Linux system or live cd to check and repair EXT file systems.

I think that about covers it.
