Where to download Thunderbird 5? (Only Thunderbird 7 available)

I'm using Thunderbird 3 as that's what came in my yum repository by default. I'd like to upgrade, however there's a Thunderbird addon I use and on its website it says it works in Thunderbird 5 (doesn't say about Thunderbird 7), so I need to download and install Thunderbird 5 - unfortunately I can't find the installation file to download. Can anybody direct me to how I can get it?

I'd imagine the plugins would work in Thunderbird 7 (because I've heard changes between 5 and 7 are not as major as other releases), but plugins just don't enable themselves if they're not for the version that Thunderbird shows itself to be.

1) Go and check out a mirror for any distribution.

2) Find the version that came with thunderbird 5.

3) Browse to the sources.

4) Download them and build.

Alternatively, you could do the above with any distribution that uses RPMs, and then just download the package itself. There's no gurantee that it would work, however, even if it was a CentOS mirror, since the linking could be all jacked-up.

If you mean the binary from mozilla.org, you can find it here
