Does anyone here know where to download grub with reiser4 enabled? I've tried gentoo, Arch and Archie Live CD but only Archie CD tools were able to format reiser4 partition but not to boot. I don't want to use lilo and don't want to compile myself...
I'm not sure I understand your question. Not all distro's fully support Reiser4 yet, so don't be surprised if alot of distros don't have tools out for it yet. It is after all still experimental.
1.) What exactly are you trying to do?
2.) I don't understand "able to format reiser4 partition but not to boot," if you format a partition, there's nothing on it. So it won't boot... ever.
Your boot parition dosen't need to be reiser4 anyway. Make it ext2 or 3 and then make your root and home paritions reiser if you want. There's not enough data on a boot parition, which dosen't need to be any bigger than 50M, to warrent having a journaling system like reiser.
I copied the whole instalation of Arch reiserfs partition (3.6) to a partition formatted reiser4 and I can mount and copy files because Archie CD "Vika" kernel supports reiser4. But I cant't load kernel from grub prompt (unrecognized file system...)
Thats because Grub dosen't support reiser4 for booting. Make a seperate parition just to boot off of. Label /boot, install grub there, and make its file system ext2 or 3, and then try booting off that parition. Just make sure you setup grub.conf right.

I did so! I've got several systems working on a laptop with one hd. And I use several grubs and menu.lst or grub.conf and go from one to another... That's why I'm asking: where to download grub with reiser4 suport or how to check if grub supports it?
You'll have to google I guess. You could check the the man pages on grub. Here is GRUB's homepage, check there. My guess is though GRUB dosen't support reiser4 yet, considering Linux dosen't even fully support it yet, and that you can't get a stable version that does. Perhaps one of the betas support it. If I were you i'd just redo my boot parition with a different file system. It doen't matter to grub what filesystem the rest of your harddrive is, only your /boot parition. Unless you've got your boot and root on the partition.
I've been googling for many days and hours. I wouldn't have asked otherwise . I've read nearly all documentation on official grub website and namesys... . I just didn't want to go into the sources of grub or compile myself. I guess someone has compiled it there are pathes announced?

Yeah,... from here
in the article "Installing GRUB on a Reiser4 Partition."
