where resides kconfigskeleton.h?

I am trying to install Kmsgmodem, a KDE application to read out 3Com/U.S.R. modems on SuSE 9.0pro.

./configure runs okay but make produces an error:

In file included from kmsgmodem.h:45,
from main.cpp:24:
config.h:23:29: kconfigskeleton.h: File or Directory not found.

I contacted the maintainer who said that kconfigskeleton.h resides with KDELibs in Slackware ... I have KDELibs3 in SuSE 9.0pro re-installed but searched my whole installation in vain for this file.

Anybody any ideas where else to look / what to install?

I am confused by your post. What are you tryng to accomplish? I have SuSE 8.2 Pro, which detected my USR voice/data/fax modem without any problems. I use kinternet to make internet connections.
If you want to install something other than kinternet and wvdial utility, there may be unsatisied dependencies which you should also download and intall.

Like you I have no problems with the normal operations of the modem. But I want to be able to read out FAX-data stored during stand-alone usage of the modem. That's what the program does.

To compile it obviously needs the darn kconfigskeleton.h file which is not included in my installation. So I need the information in which package SuSE stored it since it is not in KDELibs like with slackware...

Ah. Now I understand. You need to install the kdelibs3-devel rpm to have the necessary headers (that's from the SuSE website).

kdelibs3-devel is already installed from CD. I even re-installed to make sure. Okay, I could manually delete them and then install again as a last resort...

Which SuSE website are you referring to? It's a bit confusing what with Novell, SuSE in the USA and germany ... I'd be obliged for a quick cut and paste of the URL .

<edit>
Okay, I found http://www.suse.de/cgi-bin/htsearch.cgi
though that seems to be for the 64bit systems etc...
I'll dig again tonight ...

Well I did just that: no luck. I even made sure by
Code:
#> rpm -qa | grep kdelibs*
#> kdelibs3-devel-3.1.4-24
Seems SuSE's kdelib3-devel packet is broken, but I cant be the first to need kconfigskeleton.h...

What now?
