where is xf86cfg in FC3

Dear Gurus

I have a typical problem with my display. The linux screens is shifted to the right by about 50 pixels but it is alligned perfectly in windows. It is a real pain for me to keep on adjusting my screens position whenever I switch OSs

I had SUSE before, which has xf86cfg. in that I could shift the screen towards the left through software. What would be the similar operation in FC3.

Thank you,

Best Regards,

Danish

I can't be certain, never having used Fedora, but perhaps it is no longer using xfree86. You might try xorgconf (or xorgconfig). Many of the new distributions have moved to xorg, because of a dispute about crediting xfree86 developers with something or another.

Fedora now uses xorg so that command isn't there. Try a system-config-display which is a Fedora/Redhat tool.
