Where is the Wine 1.4 source?

The wine website points to this link, stating that 1.4 is the last stable release.

But there I only see up to release 1.1.27, last modified 2009, which is ancient. What is going on?
Where are the instructions how to compile it? I cannot use the packages, since I am on Debian Squeeze and the SID package will not install on it (Squeeze uses 1.0, which is also ancient ;-)
