Question Where is the C++ in RH Linux 7.2

Im a new user when it comes to Linux and I just dont know if RH Linux has its own C++ installed in it? I have the Full installer of the RH Linux and im just wondering if I could use that.
I really want to get away with Windows and stick with Linux....

*Would I still configure the C++ directories while im in the Linux environment? (Like in DOS)

Thanks.....

Sincerely;
Ian Ace

rpm -q -a | grep c++

to see if it is installed

then

find / -name g++ -print

to locate

then

echo $PATH

to see if you have access to g++, if not then add it you path

If you have KDE installed you can startx and click on KDE's start button. Go up to the development section then choose KDE 2.0. This will get you into KDE's version of c/c++ programming environment.
