Where Is Star Office?


Guys I just installed mandrake 10.0 on my laptop I then logged on as root and installed star office 7.0 in the /usr/bin directory when i log on as root or good ole self its not in the start up menu where is it? did I install it in the right directory ? also when I tried to install the java run time it gave me an error that there was no terminal available can someone help?
