where is sim (chat program) installed?


i ahve mdk 10 and i download the sim rpm for it, double clicked to install, but now can't launch it cuz i dunno where it was stored and i couldn't find an icon for it. any ideas? thansk.

check /usr/bin, maybe

Open a terminal and type: whereis sim

it just returned "sim:"--so i guess it didn't really install?

i redownloaded the rpm and double clicked on it and get:

Some package requested cannot be installed:
sim-0.9.3-1mdk.i586 (due to unsatisfied libsim0[== 0.9.3])
do you agree ?

i click 'ok' and it closes it.

btw, the first time i install, it prompted me saying that some key didn't match (i've gotten those same types of message installing gaim) so i click ok and installation started, but now can't find it.
