Where is MYSQL databases stored on the HDD?
 

I am going to be moving datacenters but won't be retaining the hardware, so I plan to copy the /home directory over to our new server.... yet I also have clients with mysql databases... where are those stored on the hard drive so I can move 'em?

Well, all depends on the configuration. By default databases are kept in /var/lib/mysql but I'd actually check your actual setup to be sure..
