Where does Mozilla and Netscape 6.0 + keep messages?

Older versions used to keep messages in an INBOX.mail file but I can't find the INBOX.mail, SENT.mail etc. at all in newer versions. Are they embedded in the jar files somewhere?

I used to be able to link them across partitions so that my mailboxes on both OSs were always synced.

Any hope of doing this on modern versions??

Thanks

Bert

Netscape and Mozilla use directories /host/you/.mozilla and /host/you/.netscape

Names of directories begin from dot.
