Where do I download mplayer? Why don't any of the links work!?

Hi,

I feel dumb asking this, but where the hell do I get this thing?
I've tried the main site and the link luna.cs.ccsu.edu/dominik/mplayer/ (the FC4 rpm) doesn't work. I've also search ALL over the net and I can't find a thing!
What am I doing wrong?
Should I just download the source and build?
I'm a newbie linux guy, so I'd prefer not to do that.
In summary: WHY DON'T ANY OF THE FC4 MPLAYER DOWNLOAD LINKS WORK!?
(sorry for the caps, but they actually represent my emotions right now!)

I don't even care that I look stupid anymore! I just want to know what's going on!

Thanks in advance,
Hawk:newbie:

FTP Link
RPM Search returns mplayer results (what you want) for FC4
Stable Working Links from GreySector

Take your pick.

I just type

yum install mplayer

and that is it..

You may have to do a google search on yum and cut and paste a yum.conf file though!

This is an excellent (IMO) guide to setting up FC after the initial install, and it does cover mplayer:
