where can I get older version of mplayer?

it seems new version of mplayer (mplayer-0.90pre9-1) isn't working for me..
i can install it fine but everytime i try to run it, i get error message as follow:

************************************************************************************
CPU: Advanced Micro Devices Athlon 4 PM Palomino/Athlon MP Multiprocessor/Athlon XP eXtreme Performace (Family: 6, Stepping: 2) CPUflags: MMX: 1 MMX2: 1 3DNow: 1 3DNow2: 1 SSE: 1 SSE2: 0
Compiled with RUNTIME CPU Detection - warning, it's not optimal! To get best performance, recompile MPlayer with --disable-runtime-cpudetection
[cfg] read config file: $HOME/.mplayer/gui.conf
*************************************************************************************
I'm not really sure (because i'm... :newbie: ) and older version pre8.1 was working great, so I really like to get back to older version. I should have kept them safely but I didn't...:( And I can't find them anywhere... (I checked rpmfind.net as well). I'm wondering if anyone know any websites still having older version. Or any advices about how to fix this problem.

Thanks

that's not an error message, it's a warning message, ignore it or compile from source. don't get an older one as there's nothing wrong.

Thanks for reply but the problem is that i can't start mplayer... everytime i try to start mplayer i get that message and it stops. How can I start mplayer?

right well you're getting a different error message then, look harder, that will not stop mplayer running

gui.conf file may be missing... and this is causing this problem.
it says i need this file in %HOME/.mplayer/ directory. now i gotta find gui.conf file. Anyone know where I can find it?

no, it's just a warning again, it is just a file that holds default information about the gui setup for gmplayer. it's irrelevant if it does not exist. just copy the ENTIRE mplayer output here.

Do you still have the win32 codexs in /usr/lib/win32 (or wherever they go)? On my Mandrake box, I used the mplayer rpm. I was having trouble playing some movies or just getting video, no audio. I resolved all my problems by remembering to put those in there. You don't have to reinstall or anything, just put them in there, it should work fine.

ok this is entire message i get

ahh right now we finally get there... yeah there has been a fair few problems with that flag one recently, and actually no one on the dev team gave a decent solution, or rather fixed it. i would suggest compiling it from source (see the docs for more details or search this site) and run it that way, that will also get rid of the cpu warning you first complained about. if you still get the error compile with ./configure --disable-xinerama that should fix it fine. You might also want to be even braver and downloaded the bleeding edge CVS, but i guess you wouldn't really want to do that.
