where can i get c++ compiler?


Hi everyone.. Im new to linux. and im want to start programing with it but i can't seem to find a c++ compiler. Currently im useing corel linux but i hate it but it's all i have for now. can anyone help? please?

yeah, corel does really suck doesn't it? the c++ compiler is called g++ (or gcc if you give if a file which it can recognise as a c++ file as opposed to plain c code) install those packages and you should be fine. i can't remember what package system corel uses though, but they will definitely be on the distro cd's if it's not already installed.
