where can i find konsole.so/.la for SuSE 9.3??

We got a POS system with SuSE 9.3 installed by the mfr. No CD/DVDs, just a fairly basic install on the HDD.

We installed our POS software, which runs in a terminal window, and we need to set font to large, lines to 25, columns to 80, and encoding to Western European IBM850... in the konsole window, this can be done, and the settings can be saved as "default" so it's not necessary to change anything thereafter.

The problem is, konsole has a bug which makes it fail to save the encoding... this has apparently been fixed, and it seems like all we really need is the updated konsole.so and konsole.la files - but can't seem to find them anywhere separate, and don't want to screw up the existing kde by replacing the whole thing.

Also we looked for a way to put the settings on a command line to kick off the terminal, but can't find any doc on how to do that.

Any help with either of these will be appreciated!
