where?
ok here is my question. Where will you find the program once it gets installed?
Now here is the whole story. I am running Mandrake 10. I found a cool looking screensaver (gl) so I downloaded the xcreensaver.tar.bz2. Went into the shell cd /home/jim/Documents then went on and did a tar -xyvf xscreensaver.tar.bz2 to untar it. then I cd /home/jim/Documents/xscreensaver. From there I did a ./configure and all went well so I did a make and didn't notice any errors with that either so moved on to make install and from what I can tell I didn't see any errors with that either. But now I am wondering where it can be found? It is not with the rest of the screensavers so I am now lost. Any help would be great. Thanks noobtesting :newbie: |
Isn't xscreensaver a program? They (programs) usually go into /usr . Try running 'xscreensaver'

do a... whereis xscreensaver or slocate xscreensaver in the terminal.
