Question What software to use?

I have a problem. Need a substitute for MS Access I can use on Linux (which can reed MS Access files). Also need a substitute for Photoshop, CorelDRAW and AutoCAD. GPL is prefferred, but commercial will do also.

Not sure about access but for photo editing, The Gimp is probably the best bet. For CAD, not sure.. have you tried searching and browsing on sites like newsforge.net and or freshmeat.net ?? Those usually have lots of projects to search and browse thru.
