What software do you use with your iPod?

I have googled this topic and found several different software packages. Which software you've had success with?

If you post I would appreciate it, if you include what kind of ipod, your distro, kernel, connection, and what format.

Example:

ipod 3rd gen
slackware 10.1
software that was a success.
usb
kernel 2.6.5
fat32

It would just make things easier. I've gotten my ipod connected and mounted to /mnt/ipod/ I am just looking for some recommended software.

Im dont have an ipod yet, so Im not speaking from experience, but Amarok seems to have some sort of ipod integration.

gtkpod and gnupod seem to be the major players.
I use gtkpod atm but am haveing problems with firewire.Im waiting for my ipod usb cable to come in.
